dakota is....to put it kindly, eccentric. she doesn't give a crap what people think of her and instead she tries to make the life of the preps as difficult as possible. she has a secret vengance for them.
sometimes dakota's been called bipolar. truth is - she's just moody. you do not want to get on dakota's bad side; that's how she got into hollowcove.

Appearance:

dakota started out with beautiful blonde hair. it was curly and wavy, perfect for the innocent little girl dakota was. then dakota hit middle school and she changed her whole appearance. she straightened her hair and dyed it in certain places. her eyes are a bright blue, she tends to embellish this shade by wearing dark, solid mascara and eyeliner. she's always wearing makeup and cute clothes.
she tends to be flashy when getting ready in the morning. she loves colors like pinks and blues. bri has a great figure, but she doesn't show it off. she doesn't care for popularity.

History:

dakota's mother, tanya, came from a very rich family. tanya relished in the glory of her easy popularity. soon, when her parents were out, tanya threw a party. some boys brought beer and of course she had a bit. well, a bit soon turned into a lot. then, you know the rest. tanya got pregnant at seventeen, carrying dakota.
the father didn't commit and left tanya to have the child on her own. as soon as bri was born, tanya's parents weren't happy, but they'd spoiled tanya her whole life and they weren't going to stop now. tanya ran away, though, leaving dakota in the care of her grandparents. dakota was spoiled just like her mother.
dakota loved it at first. as a little girl, she got every toy that came out on the market. she got every new outfit she wanted.
soon dakota entered middle school. there was a group of blonde girls, the preps, who seemed to lash out and mock a new kid every week and dakota was no exception. she had wanted to try something new, so she'd given herself a lime green streak on her bangs. the preps began making fun of dakota and she suddenly snapped, punching one of the girls - elizabeth - in the face. elizabeth had a broken nose and one of her eyes received an injury - apparently dakota could pack more of a punch than she thought.
although dakota didn't regret the action at first, she did later, once she was marked 'insane' by the government. she'd started attacking people for the littlest things. dakota even harmed her grandparents when they grounded her.
soon dakota was sent to hollowcove. although she won't admit it, dakota is actually scared and confused. she acts like she's just angry right now.

RP Example:

Her blonde hair swished beneath her fair-skinned face as Dakota watched some little girl being scolded by one of the teachers. Poor kid, she thought. She felt a stab of jealousy as she realized that little girl wouldn't have to go through the crap of regular middle school. She pushed the thought off and sat down on a bench. Dakota pulled out her book, set it on her lap, and started scribbling in answers on a worksheet.
Soon her mind wandered; she wondered if she hadn't punched Elizabeth, if she wouldn't be in Hollowcove. She didn't mind the place, in fact, it was kind of fun. She always joked about it and said she was 'special'.
